Lets face it, the open world of the internet has had a major impact on the music industry, most notably the ongoing debate of pirating artistic licensed work. However your music ends up on your mp3 player, the internet has also helped launch the careers of many musicians with the advancement of social media, linking polar opposites or the famed and unknown. Search engine Bing aligns with Warner Bros. Records MC Theophilus London for a special project titled Remix the Track, in which the two ask aspiring beatsmiths to create and submit a remix to London’s hit “All Around The World.” The winner will receive a cash prize as well as join the world famous London in his New York studio to record and master their remix, which will be featured on his upcoming album in conjunction with Bing.
