The Human Imagination, a retail showroom and gallery in downtown Honolulu, presents “The Art, Design and Photography of Rhandy P. Tambio.” Tambio, who happens to also be the creative director for the Human Imagination space, is a well-known advertising, action sports and fashion industry veteran who has worked with the likes of Vans, Etnies, G-Shock, Stussy and more. Featuring icons from across the world that have inspired and fought for humanity, Tambio’s art is at once strikingly contemporary yet sentimental. Although some of his other work, such as American flags made out of dollar signs, isn’t wildly original, it’s all very cool. The first Friday of every month will see the Human Imagination space showcasing a new artist, so fans of Mr. Tambio should drop by in August if they’d like to view his art in-person.
