GRIND Magazine: NEIGHBORHOOD 2011.2nd Fall/Winter “GIMME SHELTER” Editorial

To coincide with this weekends launch of the 2011 “GIMME SHELTER” fall/winter collection from NEIGHBORHOOD, GRIND Magazine bring us this wonderful photoshoot. With most of the season based around imagery from the Altamont free festival of 1969, the styling for this photoshoot reflects the events, going as far to recreate an outfit very reminiscent of what Mick Jagger himself wore on that infamous night. As you would expect from a fall/winter collection, plenty of jackets, heavy shirts and headwear feature alongside several denim and heavy cotton pant designs. The standout item this time around is the “Calif” M-65 which has a removable real rabbit fur lining supported by a thermal Thinsulate body and retails for ¥189,000 JPY (approximately $2,400 USD). Items from the NEIGHBORHOOD 2011 “GIMME SHELTER” fall/winter collection are available at NEIGHBORHOOD stockists now.
