Top Gear has discovered a winning formula for television: combining cult personalities, witty bon mots, exotic locales and rare cars for the ultimate in gasoline-powered entertainment. In this clip, the show offers a peek into the inner workings of two of the greatest and most innovative cars ever, the Porsche 959 and the Ferrari F40. The mid-1980s supercars broke every record when it came to speed, acceleration and innovation, in fact, the Ferrari was the first car ever to be entirely crafted from carbon fiber. Of course, Top Gear doesn’t merely provide some meager car porn to its audience – engaging the two bright red speed demons in a drag race of epic proportions. To find out which car wins, you’ll have to watch the clip (as if you needed an incentive in the first place).
