High-fashion retailer and trendsetter Aloha Rag opened in 1991 as a small boutique located on the Hawaiian island of Oahu. With nothing but good taste and an eye for curation behind its name, the store grew to become a formidable force in the fashion industry – now boasting a list of avant-garde designers as clients including the likes of Balmain, Lanvin, Balenciaga, Maison Martin Margiela, Thomas Wylde and Alexander Wang. In order to celebrate the brand’s 20th year in business, Aloha Rag has teamed up with venerable footwear giant Converse to sculpt a pair of limited-edition, commemorative Jack Purcells. Available in a sky-blue, two-tone design, the shoes are marked by their luxurious leather lining, zipper-closure running down the front tongue, and custom red, white and blue laces. Limited to 166 pairs worldwide, the kicks retail for $120 and are available now over at Aloha Rag, with availability through select Converse First String accounts on July 15.
