Case and point: his latest “test shot” featuring Glenn O’Brien. Known to many as the GQ Style Guy, Glenn has a resume that extends far beyond doling out fashion tips to the masses. As one of the first editors of Interview Magazine – a true friend to Warhol and Basquiat, and an entertainment visionary who established one of the most successful cult public-access TV shows in history (TV Party) – Glenn O’Brien has pretty much been on the cutting-edge of culture for the majority of his adult life. Captured in classic “test shot” format, Jake Davis documents the New York legend who proves that a flashy jacket lining and subtle navy suede bucks can pull an outfit together much better than ostentation or extravagance ever would.
