Welcome to the 51st edition of Hypetrak’s Weekly Set series. This time, however, we present you the most played audio and videos of the past two weeks. As you can see in the playlist below, Urban Noize’s amazing mashup “Never Chasing Pavement” reigns supreme. The mix combines Adele’s “Chasing Pavements” with Jay-Z’s Kanye West-produced “Never Change” which appeared on the timeless The Blueprint LP. Mike Posner’s abilities behind the board cannot be denied. As the latest indication for his production skills, the 24-year-old serves his rendition of Coldplay’s “The Scientist,” which offers an impressive dubstep-infused beat. J. Cole’s “Return of Simba” – the third chapter of his popular “Simba” series – comes next. As usual, the North Carolina emcee offers outstanding work behind the mic and behind the boards. As you all have noticed, Drizzy Drake is back on the music grind again. Before packing heat with the Take Care intro “Dreams Money Can Buy,” the Toronto native took on SBTRKT’s Yukimi Nagano-assisted “Wildfire.” Arguably one of the music industry’s hottest newcomer, The Weeknd, has caused plenty of noise within the blogosphere and beyond. Somebody was digging deeply in the vault and brought forth a reference track from the artist, entitled “Birthday Suit,” that was initially meant for fellow Toronto native Drake.

Further highlights of the past 14 days encompass Thundercat’s FlyLo-produced “For Love I Come,” Busta Rhymes’ and LL Cool J’s audio reunion “Killin Em,” Laws’ first Paul McCartney inspired single “Dear Boy,” B.o.B’s remix of One Republic’s “Good Life,” and Xaphoon Jones’ Feed the Beat Moombahton Remix of Chiddy Bang’s “The Good Life.”

Regarding music videos, we have seen impressive delivery in the shape of Beyoncé’s “Run the World (Girls),” Kendrick Lamar’s “HiiiPoWeR,” Frank Ocean’s “Acura Integurl,” Mac Miller’s “Wear My Hat,” Swedish House Mafia’s “Save the World,” Laws’ “Momma Miss America,” the Mr. Spock-assisted alternate version of Bruno Mars’ “The Lazy Song,” Grimes’s “Crystal Ball,” Justice’s monumental “Civilization,” Is Tropical’s “The Greeks,” Erykah Badu’s “Out of My Mind, Just In Time,” and Tech N9ne’s “He’s a Mental Giant.”

Also make sure to check out The Weeknd’s all new “Rolling Stone” and four more previously unreleased tunes as well as Lil Wayne’s ballad “How to Love.” Also don’t sleep on Chiddy Bang’s new mixtape Peanut Butter & Swelly and Young Jeezy’s The Real is Back. Last but not least, listen to the audio recap below!
