Charlie Bowden “Twenty-Six” @ Eastpak Gallery London Recap
Charlie Bowden opens his debut solo exhibition at Eastpak Gallery in London. Influenced and inspired by the everyday, Bowden taught himself to draw diagrams as a means to explaining and expressing his ideas. Without denying graffiti’s influence on his style, the show is actually a response to graffiti and Bowden’s changing attitude to it. “Twenty-Six” is a site-specific installation of 3D letters that have been stripped of their identity. All pieces that will be on show at the Eastpak Gallery are unique, one-off pieces.
