Roughly three months prior to its release, further details have been revealed about the deluxe edition of Arcade Fire’s critically-acclaimed LP The Suburbs. Set for an August 2 release via Merge, The CD/DVD package will contain two new songs, respectively titled “Culture War” and “Speaking in Tongues” featuring David Byrne. In addition, an extended version of The Suburbs cut “Wasted Hours (A Life That We Can Live)” has been added to the CD whereas the DVD will consist of the Spike Jonze-directed short film “Scenes from the Suburbs,” behind-the-scenes documentary and the music video for the album’s title track. The booklet will be made up by 80 photographs that were taken during the film shoot.
