Marc Newson, a prolific Australian designer, approaches his latest project with contemporary watch brand Ikepod to produce his rendition of the classic hourglass. Captured by Philip Andelman, music director for such acts as Beyonce, Jay-Z and Band of Horses, the poignant short film documents the intricate and mesmerizing process of crafting such an elegant timepiece.
