Griffin GFT 014 Technical Bearskin Jacket

Leading British fashion designer Jeff Griffin has careened his way through the fashion industry until founding his own brand bearing his namesake, Griffin Laundry. The essence of the brand stems from his years living within England’s countryside, a subsequent fusion of technical practicality, and utilization of his own variation on the camouflage motif.

New to Griffin Laundry’s Spring/Summer ’11 line include the Technical Bearskin – a coat that when opened up flat from jacket cuff to hem zips, resembles a bear’s skin. The design favors bonding instead of stitching for a sleek seam-free finish, and makes use of waterproof-taped zips and fastening to allow for additional ventilation. Available for ¥69,300 in-store at Griffin Studio or at their online store.
