In association with Water.org, denim purveyor Levi’s helped celebrate World Water Day and the launch of their new Levi’s Water/Less jeans with a Water March. The Water/Less jeans collection has aimed to cut down the use of water necessary in the denim finishing process. The march featured 100 water carriers who went on a three-mile trek through New York City as a symbolic move set against the walk many take globally each day. Levi’s donated $250,000 USD to Water.org as support to Water.org’s efforts to offer clean water globally.
