Having presented in London last week at The Showroom Next Door, we now take a closer look at the 2011 jewelry collection from BUNNEY. Headed by designer Andrew Bunney, the accessories label was started with the simple idea to make something precious that just about anybody could use. The result has been several seasons of highly wearable jewelry collections that have put BUNNEY on the map for several major stockists worldwide. One of the label’s key pieces this season is the Padlock, which actually opens up for personalization and was inspired by the practice of “Love Padlocking.” This Old English Padlock style originated in a small town outside of Wolverhampton called Willenhall when Queen Elizabeth I commissioned the locks to be made. A couple of other strong pieces from the collection include the Lucky Rabbit’s Foot, a biker-style rabbit’s foot that was hand carved in London, and Tricolor Flag Studs that continue the Parisian theme and serve as an update to a collaboration the label did with uniform experiment. Take a look below to see more photos from the collection.
