World renowned for drawing inspiration from vintage American military garments, Japanese clothing manufacturer Toys McCoy offers a look at its latest release, the N-1 Jacket. Designed initially for U.S. Navy vessel workers in the 1940s, this rejuvenated, made in Japan piece presents itself in a thick, fitted outer shell lined with heavy lamb’s wool. Adding to its authentic build, Toys McCoy infused original Coast Guard graphics, including Felix the Cat, a silent film cartoon character who was adopted by many early Naval squadrons as their unit insignia. Now available at Hong Kong retailer TAKE5, the N-1 jacket is priced at $9,850 HKD (approximately $1,265 USD).
