Jiro Dreams of Sushi Trailer

For 85-year-old sushi master Jiro Ono, he has dedicated a lifetime to the intricate craft of Japan’s gastronomical icon. Declared a living national treasure by the Japanese government, his Ginza, Tokyo restaurant Sukiyabashi Jiro has garnered much praise in the culinary world earning top honors as a three Michelin Star restaurant. Filmmaker David Gelb is the architect behind the documentary Jiro Dreams of Sushi which looks into the unwavering passion of the chef and the pressure of his understudy and son, who’s future faces an insurmountable task of bettering a living legend. The official release is set for March 9, 2012.
