It’s not happening so fast that no one can see it. Anyone who isn’t blind can see it. Not all Rolex movements are the same, so your statement about bph is wrong. The 3135 movement is a newer movement and it’s bph goes at a rate of 28800 bph. Divide that by 3,600 seconds and you get 8 beats per second. The 3130 cal. is 18000 bph which is 5 beats per second. A lot of watch enthusiasts I know still use the term sweeping to describe how smooth the sweeping is on a watch. It may be incorrect, but you’ll be surprised to see how many people use that term in watch forums. Idiot…

Seeing that he has an Air King, is a definite indication that it does not have an Oysterquartz movement. I don’t know everything about watches, but I do know a lot about them. Why are you attacking my claim about how uneducated most HBers are when it comes to timepieces? It’s true and it’s not like it’s directed to you. If you read the forums, most members wear Fossil, Nixon, G-Shock, Casio, Timex, etc. They don’t care for “Swiss Made”. They don’t know what COSC regulation is… or 316L or 904L steel is. What’s the difference between Sapphire or Mineral Crystal glass? They don’t care… Like I said… if it looks good and its cheap… thats all that matters to HBers.

i think rolex did make some quartz models back in the day, which i believe tic.  However, most rolexes are mechanical so they have the sweeping second hand
