Alexander McQueen introduces its latest casual footwear installment via the Zip and Lace Sneakers for Fall/Winter 2011. Seemingly taking design pointers from classic shell toe Superstars and zip arrangements from mastermind JAPAN, the sneakers amplify the label’s chic underpinnings with the application of a uniform leather upper. A fully enveloping toecap also provides an embossed aesthetic. Contrasting laces and zipper hardware delineate the solitary silhouette with the zipper-laden vamp opening to reveal a skull embellished leather tongue.
