Technical roadwear label Rapha recently visited the coastal Canadian city of Vancouver to coincide with the GranFondo race and to complete what is known as the triple crown challenge. The GranFondo is an annual bicycle race with over 7,000 competitors in 2011 alone. The race begins in Vancouver and spans the sea to sky highway, ending in the host city of the most recent Winter Olympics: Whistler, British Columbia. To prepare for the immense 110-mile journey, the Rapha team took on the triple crown challenge. This test loosely constitutes reaching the summit of Grouse, Seymour and Cypress in one day – three of the gorgeous mountains decorating Vancouver’s cityscape. Rapha captured their experience in a series of videos.
