EL MAC in the Montana Colors Factory Video

Artist EL MAC has been known for creating representational works of humans over his artistic career. Drawing inspiration from Mexican and Chicano culture of America, he has used various forms of art as mediums such as graffiti, pin-up art and religious art. He has been commissioned to paint murals across the world since 2003, where many of them were turned into local landmarks. In a joint venture, EL MAC painted a massive mural at the Montana Colors Factory this November. The video directed by Popcranc features the creative process taken by the artist as he paints a girl reminding us of Andy Warhol’s screen tests, a possible source of influence for this project.
