Aaron De La Cruz “Long Walk Home” Exhibition @ Loft in Space Recap

Last October 15, 2011, Californian artist Aaron De La Cruz opened his first solo show at Loft in Space gallery in Hawaii. Titled “Long Walk Home,” this event showcases the artist’s recreated bedroom which focuses on heavy Aztec-influenced prints and abstract patterns he is greatly known for. A significant body of art for De La Cruz, this recreated bedroom is said to be “a sanctuary of memories and experiences that became the launching pad for a child’s journey – from his daydreams to the artist he is now.” The visuals shown above displays a further look into the artistic process and the finished works – which are currently being displayed at the gallery. Be sure to drop by Loft in Space before it ends on November 11, 2011.
