Many hardcore BAPE fans will remember the close association and relationship between founder NIGO and his fellow friend and designer TET through several product releases a few years back. This weekend, A Bathing Ape saw a retro release of the classic BAPE MOUT (Military Operation in Urban Terrain) SKULL STAs at all BAPE STORES globally. Refined details such as the perforated “A” on the upper, asymmetrical tag on the left shoe, soldier graphic on the heel, and intricate outer sole remain intact and serve to accentuate an otherwise minimalistic shoe. Available in white/white and black/white for ¥16,590 JPY (approximately $216 USD).
