In the years prior to his untimely death, Steve Jobs granted Walter Isaacson unique access to his life for a sanctioned biography on the technological wizard. Already gravely ill, Jobs wanted an accurate and honest portrayal, one that would surely awaken old scar tissue brought about from his abandonment as a child.
