Simon de Pury "PURYPARISGRAPHY" Exhibition Recap

simon de pury puryparisgraphy exhibition recap

To start off a brand new year, colette launched a new exhibition featuring the photographic work of Simon de Pury. Curated by Chris Rehberger, founder of Double Standards in Berlin, the photographs are comprised primarily of inanimate objects and reflect de Pury’s own fascination with reality and its different perceptions. To cap off the showing, a catalog has also been produced. The exhibition will run from now until January 29, 2011.

“Photography is the perfect medium for my fast paced life. My camera is a tool that allows me to do a visual diary of things that capture my attention on my travels around the world. In many cases one can no longer identify the subject matter which gives the work an abstract feel.” – Simon de Pury
