“For the Country” is a video produced by Saint Genius Production in association with FTC, W-Base and Skylmt. It follows fixed gear freestyle riders Teppei “Nasty” Iwabuchi and Yuhei “Marco” Hirose on their first trip to the United States from Japan for a Red Bull Ride and Style event in San Francisco. The riders speak about how they came to the sport, their feelings about America, and love for San Francisco. Most somberly, they discuss how the earthquake that ravaged Japan only six months ago affected them personally and the responsibility of representing their country around the world. The video also includes, of course, plenty of fixed gear action.
