As most have become aware, famed actor Michael J. Fox, eBay and Nike recently came together for the launch of the Air MAG – a shoe famous for its appearance in Back to the Future II. Although unattainable to the average consumer, the entire initiative behind the campaign speaks volumes to the power of the almighty swoosh and its immense influence on not only sneaker culture, but pop culture as a whole. In this video above, Michael J. Fox briefly breaks down the campaign with a special message about how sales from the Air MAG will benefit the fight against Parkinson’s disease. For those who missed out on previous coverage, that can be seen here, while the live auction for the shoes is in effect here.
