A Bathing Ape x adidas Originals "B-Sides" Super Ape Star Preview

Back in 2003, A Bathing Ape and adidas Originals joined forces to create what would turn out to be one of the most successful and sought-after BAPE collaborations of all time, with the shoes still changing hands for big money nearly 10 years later. Now, the two brands have teamed up again this time as part of adidas Originals B-Sides campaign. Fans of the original collection will be happy to hear that instead of just re-releasing the original designs, A Bathing Ape and adidas Originals have created a new colorway. With a cream-colored upper, the Super Ape Star model also features complimenting navy leather stripes and on the ankle area as well the famous Ape head logo printed on the heel, albeit a slightly modified design. The BAPE camo design appears on the innersole and a golden Ape head logo has been placed on the tongue. No release date has been announced yet but the Japanese retail for these shoes has been set at ¥16,800 (approximately $208 USD).
