I’m unclear as to the issue with this keyboard being a negative for left-handed people as opposed to those who are right-handed.  Should I say, at least, not any more than a typical full-sized keyboard for a desktop PC.  If anyone would be kind enough to elaborate, I’d appreciate it, because this DID pique my interest when I saw it on a technology report on my local news yesterday morning.

    Thank you!

Agreed. the opposite way around (keyboard text –> iphone) makes sense for people with big hands or are multitasking on the computer and their phone constantly and don’t like dropping one just to pick up the other though. If it was a reasonable price, I would think about purchasing one for my house.

    I think it’s a good idea

This looks sexy, but the the iPod and products are touch screen for a reason. And for it’s price it’s not really a useful product. If it was $50 it would be cool though

I like how the product is described as “allows you to input text from your iPhone to your desktop computer”, when you are connecting it to a perfectly good keyboard. So ya, let’s type on the iPhone touchscreen to type (coz we all know how simple that is) and leave that keyboard beside you collecting dust.

I see what you’re sayin, but I think any product of this kind needs to have a certain amount of necessity to be seen as credible, where as this seems to be simply ‘because we could’. It isn’t improving on anything.

Having said that though, it really doesn’t matter does it.

Seems like a vertically-oriented trackpad for a horizontally-oriented screen is a bad idea… I like the wireless docking though, clean way to charge and update your phone I guess.

Sure it is, just flip it over ha ha!!

you do have a good point.

It’s a peripheral device, does it need to make sense?

It’s more of a “want” item than a “need”.

Nobody needs to use their iPhone as a trackpad, but people will because they can.

I’m not sure that I get it. Looks interestin an nice idea for track pad use, but if you’ve got a Mac/PC, you’ll also have a trackpad/mouse already. Surely just a gimmic?

Or have I missed the point?
