Originally introduced back in 1972, the Nike Cortez was the first running-inspired shoe to feature a full-length, dual-density foam midsole designed for comfort and shock absorption. Now, for Summer 2011, Nike has gone and updated the influential model with a couple of new colorways. Continuing to use a nylon upper, the sneaker features a grooved white outsole in distinctive Brown Kelp and Mineral Blue versions.
