Cream Chair by MrSmith Studio for Calligaris | Hypebeast

Following up the Basil Chair we saw last week, Italian design company MrSmith Studio reveals another chair design in a line of inspired product: the “Cream Chair.” The main characteristics of the Cream Chair come from the always popular Creamsicle. “The design aims to build a bridge between wood and plastics with the whole project playing around the connections between the chosen materials. The seat and back of the chair are composed of Restilon – a thermoplastic polymer composed of 35 percent recycled materials, selected for its structural and superficial properties, mounted onto a wooden structure.” Further looks into the Cream Chair are available here.
