    Painful to read that some people associate Braun only with shavers and nose-hair trimmers today.  In its heydey, the Braun company’s designs on an incredibly wide range of products were top notch and top quality, thanks in large part to design director Dieter Rams, who is a god in the industrial design world.  Classic Braun is the inspiration for much of Apple’s clean and minimalist design.  These new Braun watches give hope that the company is returning to its design roots and reclaiming the mantle of good design.
