For Spring/Summer 2011, Folk has redesigned one of its best-selling pieces, the rainmac, tweaking it with a few bells and whistles. The mackintosh-style jacket is made from 100% nylon manufactured in Sweden by one of the world’s best technical fabric suppliers and includes a clear waterproof backing, a concealed zip fastening and waterproof aqua guard zips on the pockets. The jacket features a removable peaked hood, allowing the collar to be folded down or popped, the drawstring cords have been dipped and sealed in red latex, and there’s also a panel detailing on the shoulder inspired by Folk’s trademark shoulder patch shirts and knitwear. The rainmac is available in several colorways including Phantom, Forest and Bronze.
