Former professional freeskier Chuck Patterson had taken to the waves on skis before, however it was only after seeing Mike Douglas and Cody Townsend ski waves in Maui back in 2009 did the daredevil look to tackle the challenge again. Following the biggest swell of the year to Maui, his time skiing one of the most powerful waves in the world is documented in this video.
