Fresh off his collaboration with Levi’s, Billy Reid unveils his 2011 Spring/Summer collection at New York Fashion Week. Channeling American workwear into the collection, inspiration was taken from the past in the form of double breasted tweed jackets, varsity sweaters, pleated trousers and doctor bags. The color palette was neutral with cream, grey, brown and black rounding out the color story. Reid’s collections are consistent each season with his mixing of fabrics, attention to detail and creating garments that stand the line between being both tailored and casual.
