Daisuke Gemma Presents: “Less is more? More is less?” Exhibition Recap

Here’s a small recap of Dickies’ “Less is more? More is less?” exhibition, currently situated on the second floor of Isetan’s Shinjuku store. The overall theme centres around German-American architect Mies Van Der Rohe’s dictum “Less is More” and invites designers to re-work Dickies’ classic garments. 15 pieces are displayed with collaborations from Japanese brands including: UNDERCOVER, N.Hoolywood, and Takahiro Miyashita, which were previewed here. All garments are now available to be purchased alongside the exhibition in limited numbers, so check out the modest set-up if you’re in the area!
