Upon its release, the Canon PowerShot S90 effectively stole the limelight from Canon’s top-of-the-line compact G-series line of cameras. Establishing itself as a powerhouse offering in a small package, a new update has been revealed. The compact camera boasts further enhancements of the original S90 including re-developing the body for an even smaller footprint. New additions include an HDR mode, 720p video recording and a new anti-slip coating derived from the 7D DSLR. Some of the same elements of the original S90 are preserved including the 10 MP sensor, innovative control ring and f2.0 lens. Available later this month with a suggested retail price of $400 USD.
