Having seen the brand implement traditional Japanese practices into its own line of product in the past, this latest development from BAPE comes as no surprise as we see them develop a new series of Daruma Dolls, a long time tradition in Japan. The dolls are entirely hand-crafted with paper mache, and feature the brand’s lovable Baby Milo mascot. In addition to making these limited edition piece available to purchase, A Bathing Ape will be showcasing the dolls via a special exhibition opening at the BAPE Gallery. The show opens July 8th, and will run through the 17th of the month.
