Brooklyn Machine Works x adidas Consortium Shoe Preview
With the recent explosion of interest in fixed gear and track bikes it comes as little surprise that we are starting to see some killer models and make-ups aimed squarely at the ever growing number of fixed gear cycling enthusiasts. This latest offering in the adidas Consortium range sees a collaboration with New York-based cycle originators, Brooklyn Machine Works, to produce a shoe that gives a nod to cycling’s heritage while staying firmly grounded in the present day movement.
Inspired by a seminal cycling shoe from the adidas Originals archive, this version sees a similar low profile to the aforementioned model, albeit with a fresh take on the original poppy, silver and aqua colourway. The combination mesh and leather upper is the perfect blend of durability and breathability while the lace stay on the tongue ensures a perfect fit for city sojourns. Finished with an embroidered Brooklyn Machine Works logo on the tongue, adidas Consortium branded lace stays and a lace flip to cover all occasions, it’s time to get your pedal on.
