Hot on the heels of well received collaborative projects with WTAPS and A Bathing Ape, SILLY THING has once more chosen a Japanese label for their latest joint venture. Working this time with N. Hoolywood, the collection is named “Homage to 221B”. Named after the house in which fictional detective Sherlock Holmes lived, the collection aims to transform “19th Century attire into modern daily wear”. The line includes a functional jacket in Gun Club check, a lightweight down waistcoat, a digital camera case (for the modern day detective), a “3-way” beanie and below-the-knee shorts. The run uses chemical fibers as opposed to wool, ensuring that it is not only the designs that have been given a contemporary twist. “Homage to 221B” is now available at N. Hoolywood Tokyo store, Isetan and in Think Silly Store Hong Kong from this Saturday.
