Shipley & Halmos recently enlisted the help of jewellery designer Philip Crangi to produce this ring. The solid sterling silver creation features an inscription that reads “Ars Longa, Vita Brevis” (Life is Short, Art is Long) and the numbers “79” and “8” engraved on each side. The ring is delicately detailed with cobalt blue enamel and features a sterling silver patina finish that reportedly strengthens with use. Philip Crangi’s familiar horseshoe chain is included with each purchase, allowing users to wear the ring either around their neck or finger. Made in NYC, the “Class Ring” is now available from Shipley &Halmos’ online store.
