Paul Labonte and/or Paul 107 "Photographs inspired by the rap music that once inspired me"

ON & BEYOND recently launched this clip detailing Paul Labonte’s latest book, “Photographs inspired by the rap music that once inspired me”. Asked to shoot the music that inspired him, Labonte chose rap music as the subject for his fourth publication. More accurately, the photos were taken from an exhibition that the artist showcased in 2008. In this video interview, Labonte explains the choice to shoot scenes which faithfully portray those elements found in raps which he was most inspired by.
