Emanating from America’s South, Striver’s Row comes on the backs of Emmet Harrell and Jason Geter. Acting just as much as curators as they are designers, the aesthetic associated with Striver’s Row is distinctly vintage with inspirations taken from Southern African-American history. While years past often saw many scoff at pre-distressed denims and garments amongst many of the raw crowd, re-living the past through well presented and executed treatments have found a new footing. Striver’s Row currently maintains a flagship store in Atlanta, Georgia.

    just so all of you know…there was a brand that was out before any of them that was called “A.Kurtz” from one of the creators of PNB Nation that’s pretty similar to this line, unfortunately, the line didn’t get it’s recognition outside of hats and a few bags, but the main cut n sew line was amazing!….no knock on the Harrell Bros….they made Mecca USA better, and killed the urban game with Akademiks…Donwan is a denim genius…definite props to him, but Emmett is nice too…a much better merchandiser.

    I fully agree with justahater… PRPS to the “T”! I did my homework… PRPS is his brother’s brand, Donwan Harrell. Coincidence? Nah… Apparently, they started Akademiks together, but the older bro started a higher end line out of Japan (PRPS) 6 or 7 years ago, while the younger brother Emmett did some hopping around the Urbanwear scene and now he coming out with this ‘out of Japan’. You need to give your bro a call and thank him for what you know. Good luck!
