Pendleton x Levi’s 2010 Fall/Winter Preview

Coming off a huge year involving a number of heavyweight collaborations, Levi’s collaborative run for 2010 is not over yet. Joining the likes of Brooks Brothers, Opening Ceremony, Billy Reid and Filson in an all-American program is Pendleton. The well-known mill will see its colorful offerings combined with Levi’s various denim styles including jeans and jackets. The prices will range from $118 USD to $198 USD. The collection will be available at select Pendleton stores and through all American Levi’s stores as of next month.

    If the jacket wasn’t stylish, Levi’s probably would’ve updated the cut at least a couple of times in the last few decades – that’s what clothing companies usually do – instead of leaving it the same. My dad’s Levi’s jean jacket is the same cut as mine – its a timeless design that never went out of fashion and never stopped selling.

    And as for you naysayers, if fashion doesn’t repeat and resurface, how do you explain the heritage workwear revival? What about the market on vintage clothes? Didn’t you get the memo – I stuck it to your New Era beak [the one you didn't bend].

    I disagree… I think Denim Jackets do have a timelessness to them. They’re right up there with Levi’s 501s. If worn right, this type of garment doesn’t carry an era with it.
