Ardent sneaker fans will immediately recognize the iconic print seen on the following Nike CR Mercurial SuperFly II football boot. Bestowed upon one of the footballing world’s most prolific and exciting players, Cristiano Ronaldo’s Safari print boot is a reunion of style and performance. Upon the first unveiling of the Safari print in 1987 on the Air Safari, it was packaged with series of performance shoes from Nike. Once again taking its rightful place on some of Nike’s greatest sporting innovations, the Safari print links up with NIKE SENSE, a special retractable stud system for adaptive grip. In addition, Nike Flywire is also carefully integrated into the upper. An unseen detail is a tonal chevron pattern below the Safari print that is illuminated under certain lights which appears as a flash in the peripheral vision of fellow players. The Nike CR Mercurial SuperFly II will make its official debut during the November 7th Madrid Derby between Ronaldo’s Real Madrid and Athletic Madrid.
