The iPad Orchestra

Here’s a cool new video showcasing the endless possibilities offered by Apple’s iPad. Performing “Sweet Dream” live is The iPad Orchestra, using only 4 iPads, each of which represent different instruments that comprise the orchestra. The piece was composed by Ilya Plavunov. Enjoy!

And I liked it very much. I understand that it’s not something breaking through or something shocking, but it’s still very cool when people play such beautiful classical music on such small high-tech devices. It sonds like a true orchestra.

They could have done this video with a any midi controllers/sound generator and lose the t-shirts and the result would have been the same. Not buying it as any sort of presentation of “infinite possibility”.
