I give the store a year. Crooks is dope, but a Hawaii store is a bad Idea. Too many stores in Hawaii already sell Crooks. And I’m sure they are pissed.

After readin a lotta comments… Crooks seems to be the most hated brand on hypebeast. why is that?
Bootleggin the Gucci logo like Stussy and XL did 10 years ago? OR ripping of the Hundreds or novelty shop Bullet flash drive? OR making The Gap style campaigns. Or just cause they are acting gangster even though they are nice Fillipina boys who went to school and college. The list goes on.

real talk… it is not difficult to open a store let alone start a brand. the difficulty lies in opening a successful store and creating/maintaining a successful label. why do you respect a store/label that doesn’t really command such? another pertinent question is whether or not that success is in actuality respectable or not. there should be more to any culture rather than just profits. pls indulge me and tell me what is so spectacular about c&c and it’s new hawaiian located store.

yeah the store is lackluster, but no one should give a shit. the bulk of their inventory is/will probably just remain tees and caps (due to geography) by a label that got dissed hard by commissary. the minimalist decor is most likely out of necessity rather than choice…or if i humor them, their best or only option. the store looks like a bunch of other non inspired stores that consumers afflicted with hypebeastiality shop at, so it’s not as if this kinda shit was unexpected. no surprise here. they should just open accounts at mega malls or sold to jayz when they had the chance. oh and every patron of the opening dresses wack. no offense. anyway, that too, is really no surprise.

the shop looks like it’s on the upper level of some kind of strip mall. With a garage on the bottom of their store.(fumes, car noise?) That’s a bad scene, man. It’s not a good look. They should have waited. The inside looks sparsely decorated and I DO NOT mean minimalist, nothing on the walls a couple birbricks and a copy of a toy KAWS copied from Damien Hirst who was sued for copyright infringement for copying the original toy. And this is the store???? WTF is goin’ on crooks? I really expected more. Dang!!!!!
