Street League Pro Testing Day #1

August 5, 2010Eventsby Staff1 Views

In the first half of 2010, it was announced that Rob Dydrek’s newest skate endeavor would take form with his Street League. With a launch date about 3 weeks away, the seasoned veterans set to take the stage began their first day of trials to get acclimatized to the course. What better way to get things rolling with a mock contest which included the likes of P-Rod, Shane O’Neill, Terry Kennedy, Greg Lutzka and Mikey Taylor among others.

witchraft is correct. i love rob dyrdek but one thing i really like about skateboarding was the fact that it WASNT like the nfl or nba. now its gonna be just another everday espn sport, wont be long before all teams have coaches and uniforms. smh

    amazing shit

money money & some more money, dyrdek is a business man..but at the end of the day if you got the skills why not go for it..i hate the fact they give p rod soo many contest like they literally give it to him, yeah he does the same tricks they need some fun people in the contest p rod is like a robot lol i really want shane o’neil to take it he’s way more tech than p rod & has a better swag i seen billy marks gettin it in terry finally stepping his game up flipping out of tricks now lol but yeah its fun to watch

Because P-Rod does half his tricks switch and did you see his consistency on every obstacle?

  • Driven

Rob Dyrdek is not doing skateboarding any favors by any means. He’s just a face that is channeling the same corporate sponsors that host Maloof or X-Games. Tampa is the only legitimate and honest competition in my eyes anymore.

And I hate watching p-Rod now, he’s been doing the same tricks on the same obstacles at the same type of contests now for years. I don’t see why he wins, you can pretty much predict that he’ll throw down at a comp on any given obstacle, esp the 12 stair w/ rail.

    Super dope

  • Witchcraft

Worst music for a skate video i’ve ever seen…

Rob Dyrdek has completely open the flood gates of skateboard to the leeches to pray off of it.

I hate you Rob Dyrdek. Skateboarding has been my life for 25 years and you just trash it.
