In 1988, photographer Amanda Langford held an exhibition at the Poisson Rouge restaurant in St. Martin French West Indies, entitled WET WOMEN. 22 years later, the original slides were found in the attic of her Miami home, some of only a handful of slides which she kept on her travels. These slides traveled to London with her son, and found their way onto a plethora of cutting edge design & photography blogs. Amanda’s eye for vibrant colors and composition, coupled with an appreciation for the late 80’s/ Early 90’s aesthetic, makes this an entirely relevant exhibition for our times. Offered below is a recap of the show opening at number six.
