Over a quarter of a century ago, outdoor hiking boots were firmly on the product development agenda, and in 1982 a shoe was developed with Rainier Mountaineering to mark the first American ascent of the North Wall of Everest. The New Balance 710 takes its inpiration from this boot with its lug sole and detailed stichings. The yellow version is part of the upcoming spring/summer 2011 line-up, features a suede-ripstop-upper and is set to drop by the end of January, 2011.
