For the budding and established fashion design, Fashionary provides a simple yet effective tool in your arsenal of design. Combining the three components of “Fashion + Dictionary + Diary”, within the pages are some helpful references to templates, patterns, spec sheets, measurements, fabrics, glossaries and other relevant tools for fashion design. The Fashionary Menswear edition is a recent release coinciding with a revamped Womenswear version. The Fashionary retails for $17 USD and is available directly through Fashionary.org. A video of the Fashionary in action can be seen below.

agreed. i’m a sketch snob and this style is elementary. look how the person is holding the pen as well how hard they are pressing on the paper. it’s not fluid… I’m not going to say this person can’t sketch but I know a lot of people who can ollie on a skateboard but they wouldn’t say they skateboard.

Dosu, I have to agree…but I bought one of these for my business partner (fashion designer Anastasia Chatzka) and she loves them. She’s going to grab 3-4 more just to have on reserve. She sketches in moleskin notebooks too, but the ease of labeling it a Season, and keeping everything organized is perfect. Plus, when I have to do the flats in Illustrator, everything is already to a standardized scale. To each their own though…

He’s tracing – you can faintly see the lines when the paper is white…. This is like all the paperboys and their online blackbook demos
