Making of 2010 FIFA World Cup Trophy Case by Louis Vuitton

Last Sunday saw the coveted FIFA World Cup Trophy arrive in style, as it entered in a bespoke Louis Vuitton travel case. Before handing the trophy over to this year’s Spanish winners, Fabio Cannavaro (the captain of the Italian team who won the 2006 World Cup) was given the task of carrying to trophy to the pitch, in front of the 94,700 spectators present at the Soccer City Stadium and millions more watching from around the globe. This exclusive clip shows the craftsmen at the Louis Vuitton workshop in Asnières (France) fulfilling the brief set by FIFA a few months ago, to house their most important trophy, in all its golden glory.
